Editorial policy
Guides, lessons, glossary definitions and coin overviews on CryptoTrader are published by the CryptoTrader Editorial Team. This page explains how that content is produced, what standards it is held to and how to report a mistake.
What we publish
We publish educational material about how crypto markets work: market structure, order types, derivatives mechanics, technical-analysis concepts, risk management, and India-specific topics such as taxation and regulation. We describe how things work and what can go wrong. We do not publish price predictions, trading signals or recommendations to buy or sell any asset.
How content is researched
Explanations of market mechanics are checked against primary documentation where it exists, such as exchange contract specifications, protocol documentation and white papers. Legal and tax content is checked against official sources, including the Income Tax Department, the Union Budget documents, the Financial Intelligence Unit – India and the Reserve Bank of India, and lists those sources on the page. Where a rule varies by venue or has changed recently, we say so rather than presenting one version as universal.
How content is written and reviewed
Drafts may be prepared with the help of AI writing tools. Every page is then reviewed by the editorial team for accuracy, clarity, balance and consistency with this policy before it is published. Worked examples use round, illustrative numbers and are labelled as such. Each page shows the date it was last updated.
Market data
Prices, 24-hour changes, volume and market capitalisation come from public market-data providers (Binance public spot data, with CoinGecko as a fallback) and are refreshed on a schedule. Each data view shows its source and timestamp. Data can be delayed or differ between venues, so verify prices with your chosen exchange before acting on them.
Independence
Our explanations are not written to promote any exchange, token or product. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled on the page where they appear.
Corrections and updates
If you find an error, an outdated rule or a broken source link, please contact us. We review reports, correct confirmed errors and update the page's "Updated" date when the change is material. Time-sensitive topics such as tax and regulation are reviewed at least once a year and after major policy announcements such as the Union Budget.
Not financial advice
Everything on CryptoTrader is general information for education. It does not take your circumstances into account and is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Read our risk disclosure and consult a qualified professional before making decisions.
